About Us
CLK Media Ltd is a digital-only print company based in the Gloucestershire spa town of Cheltenham, within easy reach of all parts of the country. The company was originally started as an inhouse print section within a local company involved with the print of Technical Documentation for the Military and Aircraft Industry. After a management buy-out in 2003 by current director Lydia Lewis and after several restructural changes CLK Media was finally born. The company is jointly owned by Lydia and Chris Lewis and we moved from the centre of Cheltenham in 2006 to one of Cheltenham's oldest business parks and further expanded into a new modern unit in 2009. As a digital-only printing company all our printing equipment and finishing equipment are designed to work specifically for digital print.
Digital Printing - We were one of the first companies in Gloucestershire to install Konica Minolta digital production machines black 1050 and colour C6500. These machines use polymerised toners with finer graded toner particles and use wax in the fusing process. This gives rich vibrant colours and allows re-lasering of the printed product. We can print over 1 million impressions per month which enables us to meet the demands of digital production.
Digital Finishing - All of our finishing capabilites including padding, perfect binding, booklet making and wire binding are achieved by continuous investment in Duplo digital specific finishing equipment. In 2010 we purchased a DuCreaser DU445 which enhances the quality of our products. The DuCreaser delivers upto 17 perfect folds across a sheet without cracking the spine. Coupled with 2 A1 encapsulators and A0+ cold laminator any of our printed products can be protected with a variety of gloss and matt laminates for protection and longevity.
CD/DVD Print & Duplication - We run 2 Copytrax Picasso II inkjet CD/DVD printers and can print standard, mini and business card sized media. Duplication is produced on both Copytrax and Verity Systems automated multiply burn towers.
Fine Art/Giclée - We print fine art images across a wide range of medias including canvas, Felt textured and glossy photo papers using our 12 colour 24" HPZ3100 which uses the latest HP Vivera pigment inks offering print lifespans of up to 200 years as well as unrivalled print quality.
Wide Format - Our most recent purchase is the Roland VS640 64" (1600mm) wide which uses more durable eco-solvent inks, perfect for indoor and outdoor signage allowing us to meet the shorter deadlines that are common in the display and exhibition market these days.
Large Format Finishing - Tasks such as laminating and mounting are done on our Easymount 64" laminator capable of handling pressure sensitive materials and can mount onto boards up to 25mm thick. A heated upper roller reduces 'silvering' on the finished product and gives the highest of quality finishes. A large range of wide format media is held in stock, as well as 3mm-10mm foamalite (Rigid PVC) allowing the quickest response to signage requirements both indoor and outdoor.
Vehicle Graphics - Trained by James Deacon one of the best and most well known vehicle wrappers in the country, our vehicle wrapping team can produce stunning eyecatching wraps, graphic inlays and cut lettering.
